Back in the day Brook Barton was the milking parlour and grain silos on a busy working farm deep in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. But things change and after a carefully considered renovation, it’s now a unique and spacious large group holiday house – and how very lovely it is, how gorgeously those old silos have been incorporated into the design to form two striking towers that are very much a part of the house. 7 bedrooms sleep 16, there's a spacious light-filled living room, a well-equipped kitchen, a games room, and outside in the large garden, a hot tub, cold plunge tub, and football goals. Outside is tin and timber clad, inside the vibe is a subtle blend of country modern and traditional style, with flagstone floors, exposed historic brickwork and metal staircases.

Stay here for holidays and celebrations with friends and family, for hen weekends in the country or laid-back corporate breaks; you’ll have a such a relaxing time and very special memories will be made. For literary sorts, this makes a brilliant base for the Hay Festival.

There’s plenty to see and do in these parts; within a short drive are award-winning attractions, activities like watersports, pony trekking and go-karting, and several cosy country pubs for a wholesome homemade lunch. Stroll over to The Cider Barn in Pembridge, see the quirky water gardens at Westonbury Mill, browse the bookshops in Hay-on-Wye, go for a hike along Offa’s Dyke. Despite being rural area there are A roads within easy reach and train stations at Leominster and Hereford.

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great time as a large (12 people) family of adults in this newly converted property. The bedrooms were of roughly equal size, so no-one felt they were getting the "leftover" room, and all had good access to bathrooms. The living room is a lovely big space for socialising. It was a brilliant location for exploring the beautiful countryside and many attractions nearby. Highlights were canoeing at Hay-on-Wye, Ludlow and swimming at Ludlow Mill, golf at Kington GC, high ropes at Oaker Wood."
