Pembridge, Leominster, Herefordshire

Pembridge is a picturesque village on the slopes of the valley above the River Arrow, surrounded by the beautiful countryside of North Herefordshire. It’s known as the jewel in the crown on the Black & White Village Trail for good reason – wander the main street and the little backwaters and you’ll see many a historic half-timbered building, some of them dating back to medieval times. Take your time because this is a taste of Old England, a place where time slows down and the air is contented and peaceful. The lively community is served by a village shop, two pubs, a restaurant, and nearby, The Cider Barn where the food is excellent.

In the market square there’s an open sided market house that dates back to the early 16th century; right opposite is The New Inn, bursting with character and serving generous portions of home cooked pub food.
