Can swim spas be used throughout the year?
Simple answer – yes they can! Most are outdoors, but at Sampford View in Somerset, the swim spa is indoors so you can use it whatever the weather.
Is swimming in a swim spa the same as swimming in a pool?
It’s similar, but instead of doing laps or lengths as you would in a full-size pool, think of it as on-the-spot swimming.
Does the current speed stay the same?
Yes, the current speed is adjustable so you can increase it for a more intense swimming experience. This function makes a swim spa great for all abilities.
How big are the swim spas?

What is the water temperature in a swim spa?
Most swim spas have a dual temperature set up. The cooler larger area for swimming is between 26-30C and the warmer hot tub area is 30-40C.
Can all the family use a swim spa?
Yes, but adult supervision is essential at all times. Children can use a swim spa for playing and exercise and it can help them to practice their swimming skills. Note that under our Terms & Conditions, children aged under 5 years should not use the hot tub area.
