Beyond the 2 acre grounds are the lush green fields and copse-covered hills of Somerset; the views roll on and on to the bracken clad hills of Exmoor National Park. Close by is the quiet market town of Wiveliscombe with local shops and a deli, and a very good pub. Pootle about the winding lanes, stop for a walk through sun-dappled woodlands; spend a day exploring the Quantocks or Exmoor. It’s all too good to miss, but you might just want to stay put, idling the time away at Ridgeview.
