This is one big fat slice of country living for contented holidays and peaceful celebrations; inside there’s plenty of country character with big thick beams, and lots of quirky features. Outside those large grounds are a delight with lawns, meandering paths, an apple orchard, and even a mini 'henge'. There’s a rustic stone-built barbecue bothy with heaters and lighting for year-round alfresco dining; secure gates lead down a little path to a stream where you can paddle to your heart's content.

If you want to venture out, you’ll find walks from the doorstep, family attractions, activities, historic houses and great places to eat nearby – and the beaches on the Jurassic Coast are only half an hour away! Kingshay Barton is just five minutes from Crewkerne train station with trains from London Waterloo, and is within easy reach of the A303 and A358.
