NEW! Stunning Holiday House on Exmoor, Sleeps 23

There are some things in life that you just have to shout about and this is one of them. Huxhay is not just any old holiday house, it’s exceptional. With snooze space for 23, gorgeous interiors, a large hot tub and an outdoor dining area with a barbecue and pizza oven, this is a very special place to stay for any holiday or celebration with friends and family, a sophisticated hen weekend or a corporate break that will make a remarkable impression.

Back in Edwardian times Huxhay was built as hunting lodge, and it served it’s purpose well, but wind forward to today and after a very considered renovation, it offers exquisite group accommodation over the main house and a self-contained annexe for 4 – the ideal solution for a family or for people in your group who like to have their own space.

Inside are interiors to delight and inspire, professionally designed, blending the classic country look with a more modern vibe. Sumptuous bedrooms, swish bathrooms, a cosy living room, and a huge open plan kitchen and dining room with full height doors that open onto a terrace. Steps take you down to the vast gardens and to a spacious outdoor dining area with a 12 person hot tub.

The setting is private grounds on the edge of the peaceful market town of Dulverton with far reaching views over the Somerset countryside. The house is well placed for days of peaceful enjoyment and for exploring the beautiful landscape of Exmoor National Park. There are walks on the doorstep and within just a few miles, beauty spots like Tarr Steps, Snowdrop Valley and Dunkery Beacon. Go and explore the lush river valleys, the wooded hillsides, and the high heathery heaths where red deer graze and wild ponies run free.

Within easy reach there are places to visit that will be etched on your memory for years to come; see the medieval castle atop the hill in the picturesque village of Dunster, the Victorian country house at Knightshayes (NT) and the tiny church on the clifftop at Culbone. Have days on the sands at Blue Anchor or Minehead, watch the world go by at the little harbour in Porlock; take the kids for fun-filled outings to Tropiquaria and Diggerland Devon, ride on a horse drawn barge along the Grand Western Canal at Tiverton.

Savour every moment of your stay at Huxhay, make memories that will never fade. These are special times with special people. Be organised, book today!
