The only slight problem was that the long table was always in the sun and maybe a few more parasols would help. But that was a very slight problem and was only due to the extremely sunny weather. 10/10 - The swimming pool was the most outstanding feature and well used by us. The temperature of the pool was perfect and the room was warm too. Lots of space in the house and the games room. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The only improvement I can think of, and it’s only a minor thing, is a bigger sign saying Willowhayes as sat nav only takes you to the area. We can recommend a day out to Willow and Wetlands Centre close by. 5-minute drive. - Slatter

8/10 - The owner Sean was exceptional. He ensured we had a comfortable arrival and took in food and drink deliveries for us. When we were having trouble lighting the BBQ on Saturday afternoon he turned up with a brand new one in less than an hour. Check-out was easy and relaxed with him. First class in every way. The house itself has great facilities, but we were hoping for more garden space. Finally, received a Deposit return on the day of checkout!! Lovely walks directly opposite the property and Taunton very nice with parks, historic buildings etc. - Head

The only thing, that just as we were staying in the middle of January, it wasn't very clear how/if we could turn the temperature up in the pool as it got a bit chilly. 9/10 - Willowhayes was very good for young children, pool and toys, also for their parents who spent rather a lot of time in the games room or with Prosecco in the hot tub (perhaps not so enjoyable for the grandparents who spent rather a lot of time in the kitchen!). The beds and sofas were very comfortable. Small finishing touches with log fire to make the stay with a more countryside feel. People really nice around the area. 8/10 - We stayed in the property most days but did visit Clark's Village in Street, which was very nice! We absolutely loved the place and had a great time. Only suggestions would be a larger table and bigger brolly outside the kitchen area because everyone wanted to sit together here and there was very little sun shade. The only 'negatives' were there was nothing to play music on, there was a dock but we couldn't get it to work, and there was only one kitchen cloth, scourer and black bag. The bins outside were still full from the last visitors so we had to buy bags to store our waste in. - Parker
