The beds and bed linen were delightful and all was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The views were lovely even at this time of year ( October half term) and there was lots to do in the area. We would happily recommend the property and would love to come back sometime...hopefully with a few friends. 10/10 - The whole holiday was great and we were so lucky with the hot weather. We all enjoyed the big swimming pool and one grandchild learnt to swim without his swimming bands. We all played in the games room at various times which was well set out. We enjoyed eating in the garden and looking at the rolling views. The grandchildren liked the play equipment. In all everything was provided for us and everything thought of. We hope to return sometime in the future and will recommend this holiday home. - Bunce

10/10 - The Indoor Pool and Games Room were fantastic. With young 6 grandchildren running around, this was perfect for everyone. The en-suite bedrooms were very good and the quality of the fixtures and utensils was good. The only thing we would suggest is the microwaves in both the main Kitchen and the one in the Annexe - an upgrade would have helped! - Hickman

10/10 - A beautifully clean and well equipped property. The swimming pool and games room were invaluable in occupying the children on rainy days and Robert, Claire and Dara were extremely quick to respond and resolve any minor issues which occurred. We all had a wonderful stay. - Morgan

9/10 - Loved the open plan of the property so we could all be together although it was echoey and loud when some are in bed. 1 level which is great for kids no stairs, although the floor is very hard when children fall over and hit their head. Swimming pool and games room is great, would be even better if there were a hot tub. Nice having the annex for people to get away and have their own space and kitchenette and really good every room having an en-suite. We really enjoyed our stay and thought the property very modern, clean and had plenty of equipment in the kitchen for all, would recommend for large parties and definitely use again. The owners were very welcoming and friendly on arrival, as well as staff when we were leaving. - Honeychurch

10/10 - Sleeps12 properties and booking them are about people, but super properties well appointed are the bonus that make the experience a total pleasure, and this was the case for our family reunion when we stayed at Holemoor Stables. The property was just perfect in every sense with 9 ensuite rooms, fantastic kitchen, dining and social area. Added to that there was a games room and a heated swimming pool. All this in an area of outstanding beauty. the final icing on the cake was the charming owners who introduced us to the property in such a warm and friendly manner which made us feel very welcome. A perfect property with gracious owners which combined to make a perfect stay for the reunion with my children and their wives and husbands. So a heartfelt thank you. There are a host of interesting places to visit and Holemoor is very well located in the area to make visits very easy. Big bonus, the post code takes you to the entrance of the property, so always easy to 'get home'. - Craven

10/10 - Sleeps 12 really efficient and easy to work with as a customer. All the communications are clear and simple and easy to follow. Holemoor Stables is a beautiful property - extremely well equipped and a home from home. West Bay on the south dorset coast - amazing beach and absolutely fantastic play park (next to the long stay car park) which is free of charge and designed for the whole family (including elderly and disabled people) rather than just being for children. Absolutely amazing play park - we spent hours there! Dunster castle is about 1 hour drive from Holemoor stables and well worth a visit. Fabulous views across the Bristol channel and plenty to see and do for the whole family, It's national trust. We also visited Dyrham Park which is c 1.5 hours drive from Holemoor (just off the M5) - it has a 270 hectare deer park with LOADS of deer, lots to see and do and a really great natural play park at the top of the hill. - Bottrill

10/10 - All our grandchildren - and their parents as well - really loved the pool and spent loads of time in the pool and would have "lived" in it if they had been allowed. - Nock

10/10 - This place is just in great condition and they seem to have thought about everything you could possibly need. No need for days out!! - Wickens

10/10 - As a family we couldn’t fault it in anyway well done. A holiday we have never experienced before and it was amazing everything we needed was there. Our age range was from aged two to eighty. - Wickens

10/10 - We all loved staying at Holemoor Stables, there was something for everyone in our party to enjoy. The house was spacious, all bedrooms had great en suite facilities, the kitchen was extremely well equipped, the outside space was fantastic with wonderful views. We visited Lyme Regis, the Donkey Sanctuary, Haynes Motor Museum, Fleet Air Arm Museum, Yeovilton. - Fincher

9/10 - We don’t think Sleeps 12 could improve any more than what they are doing at the moment, our experience was exactly how it was described on their web site. The only recommendation we could make is that perhaps the owners should think about air conditioning in all bedrooms as well as the lounge/diner as during the summer months it could be very very hot and uncomfortable inside the property. But apart from that we couldn’t fault a thing. - Smy

10/10 - We can recommend a day out to Lyme Regis. - West

10/10 - Everything was perfect. We visited Lyme Regis, Forde Abbey, Haynes Motor Museum. - Mills

9/10 - So many great days out due to the location of Holemoor Stables. Better weather please. - Austwick

10/10 - Amazing property with everything we needed and more kids loved the pool and games room and great that was separate so children could entertain themselves when they woke up early and not disturb the others still sleeping. Dara was extremely welcoming and helpful when any queries arose being only a phone call away and kindly making sure items left at property were returned. Would love to return next year but unfortunately already booked up will have to hope for year after. We visited Barrington CourtForde Abbey and gardens, Lyme Regis and Charmouth beach - Ridge

10/10 - Particularly enjoyed the location and the entire experience. The only point that could be improved was the fact that the cutlery drawer was directly under the hob. - Moody

10/10 - The house was perfect in every way, spacious, well equipped, lovely comfortable beds with good quality bedding. The pool was a huge success with the children and also the outside space to play. The setting could not be beaten, fantastic views, secluded and safe. We had a fabulous holiday. Our party included 5 children under the age of 5, so we didn’t venture far. The Ferne Animal Sanctuary was a big success, beautifully kept with accessible paths all round. The children also enjoyed a day trip to Pecorama in Beer, especially the train ride. - Ford

10/10 - Everything was just as I hoped, cannot fault it. Would love to come again if I could afford it!  Impressed with the welcome from the owners, and with their helpfulness when we had a minor problem to do with pillows (needed hypoallergenic rather than feather). This was dealt with immediately and as if nothing was too much trouble. - Grover

10/10 - To echo others - WOW - What a fantastic place - a brilliant party place. I have celebrated my 50th with the best people, who have made this celebration really special. The space is so sociable and had everything we could possibly need and the pool and games room have been well used. Would definitely recommend it.

10/10 - Games room fabulous. We were there when very snowy. Robert could not have been more helpful with a weather update on road conditions and clearing all the drive ways. Well equipped kitchen for a good cooking session. Comfy beds and powerful showers, who could hope for more. Thoroughly recommend. Lovely walks around Chard reservoir. - Hussey

10/10 - I thought the website was clear and informative to my requirements. I thought the floorplan was very useful and the way we could search by amenities and budgets. The house itself was perfect for a group of us celebrating a 40th birthday. The pool was an adequate temperature and the kitchen was easy to use and well equipped. - Tong

9/10 - Loved the swimming pool and games room and all the space in the house. Check in could be a bit earlier and the price looks like it has gone up a lot. - Elliott-Smith

Response: "Unfortunately we are unable to offer an earlier check in as the full 6 hours are required to maintain and prepare the property for guests arrival. The price for the same period next year has increased by £50 ( > £2.80 per person)." - Sleeps12

9/10 - Early morning and evening views over the valley were spectacular. The younger generation in particular enjoyed the swimming pool and games room. A communal toilet in the main wing would be an asset. We used Meek's Catering for a catered meal one evening and would highly recommend them. We were staying over the Christmas period and hardly left the property as there was so much to occupy us there. The weather was quite bleak and the roads and paths around were muddy, so good walking boots were needed. - Jones

10/10 - It was very central to lots of places, some went to Torquay others to Weymouth there was plenty to do in the house with pool and games rooms, all enjoyed it. Would go back. Lyme Regis was interesting and kids loved looking for fossils on beach. - Wycherley

10/10 - The whole process from asking questions prior to booking, booking and paying to all the information provided prior to arriving was just excellent. We weren’t missing anything. We had such a fantastic time and I would like to thank you. We will definitely be booking through sleeps12 again in the future. - Vincent

9/10 - The house, facilities and location are fantastic, it was exactly what we wanted for a big family birthday weekend. The only trip we did was a tour, tasting and lunch at Sheppys Cider which was excellent. - Taylor

9/10 - It is a really nice property, finished to a high standard. The highlights were the pool and living/dining area. The bedrooms were spacious, and the bathrooms adequate. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The attention to detail was very impressive. I don’t think there was anything more that could have been done to ensure that we had a memorable and enjoyable stay, which we all did. Thank you. - Ingram

10/10 - Enjoyed all the facilities, could not fault anything - just the weather was unkind but you can not do anything about that. - Hart

10/10 - Loved the pool but time went too quick for all of us to use the games room.

10/10 - We really enjoyed the sociable living area and kitchen and the option for people to stay in the slightly quieter annexe if they wished. A great week had by all. - Steeples

10/10 - The house was amazing, lovely and clean, plenty of equipment. Pool and games room brilliant. Weather could have been better but I guess that’s outside your control. We can recommend the Sheppy's Cider Tour. - Mallaleiu

9/10 - Everything was fantastic. - Patel

10/10 - Warm welcome was nice. Situation was amazing. Beds extremely comfortable. Plenty of everything which is so helpful when you have a big party. Truly an amazing property which catered for all our needs. Lyme Regis was the only place we visited and it was lovely. - Loveland

10/10 - Exceedingly well equipped and everything of a very high quality. Perfect! We enjoyed visiting the animal sanctuary. - Carer

10/10 - The guests in room 7, 8 & 9 complained about the heat in their corridor, which gets direct sun from midday onwards - we didn't have many sunny days but it must have been very unpleasant in the hot spell in July. An investment in blinds for those windows would be desirable. Also, we were plagued by flies, presumably from the fields. You cannot stop them but we had to go hunting for fly papers and spray - it would have been helpful for them to be available onsite. Montacute House and village were delightful. - Barrett

10/10 - Excellent venue for a mixed group, ages ranging from 18 months to 71 yrs, like a “home from home” excellent pool which was a real bonus as was the games room. The family enjoyed Dunster Castle, Breans adventure park and Haynes Motor Museum (with go-karting.) Also south coast, particularly village of Branscombe. We have to say though that we were blessed with excellent weather! - Williams

9/10 - We enjoyed the opportunity to be together as a whole family. The swimming pool was very well used and enjoyed by children and adults alike, particularly as there were no time restrictions on its use. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped with plenty of space for everyone. The owners appear to have thought of everything for a comfortable holiday and we hope to return in the future. We can recommend days out to Wookey HoleLongleatLyme Regis. - McSweeney

10/10 - The only thing missing was a hot tub, although not having one did not spoil our stay at Holemoor Stables. - Johnson
