You can hire self-drive boats, Canadian canoes, kayaks or stand up paddleboards, or you can charter a narrowboat, which is a brilliant idea of there’s a big group of you – and what a lovely thing to do if you’re in this part of the world celebrating a very significant birthday or anniversary.
They do regular narrowboat trips too, so you might fancy booking up for one of those – maybe a Fish & Chip Cruise, a Thai Curry Cruise, A Cream Tea Cruise or a Nature Cruise. They even do a Mindfulness Cruise – a whole 2.5 hours of stress reduction amidst the peaceful Somerset countryside. Hard to beat.
