Jordans Courtyard, Horton Cross, Nr Ilminster, Somerset

Centuries old honey coloured ham stone buildings just a couple of miles from Ilminster have been transformed from the days when they served as a farm house and barns; they’re now home to Jordans Courtyard, a neat little set up with a day spa, gift shop, events barn and a café-restaurant. They even do drop in yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi classes, so if that’s your thing, pop along, otherwise go and get your nails done or have a massage.
The shop is open Monday to Saturday 10.00am to 4.00pm and they specialise mostly in artisan products made in the West Country, so you’re bound to find something to buy as a long lasting memento of your holiday in Somerset.
The café, Kitchen also puts a big emphasis on local produce and the food they serve is rather tasty; go there for breakfast, brunch, lunch and snacks and if the weather is behaving itself sit outside on the terrace.  It’s open from 8.30am to 3.00pm every day.
