Cricket St Thomas Golf Club Restaurant, near Chard, Somerset
Just off the A30, this popular Par 70 golf course has a club house with a fantastic restaurant that welcomes non-members and visitors. It’s proved to be a big hit with the locals, which is always a good sign, and the Sunday carvery is highly recommended; enjoy the glorious panoramic views across the Somerset countryside whilst you eat.
Food is home cooked and made using the freshest ingredients; on the Friday and Saturday dinner menu are temptations such as West Country 8oz Ribeye Steak, Pan Fried Seabass, and Wild Mushroom Risotto. There’s a Children’s menu and special diets are catered for.
The restaurant is open every day from 8.00am for breakfast, with food served until 5pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Thursday night from 5pm-9pm is quiz and food night, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday food is served ‘til 9pm. The Sunday carvery is served from 12pm-7pm.
