Bishopswood, Somerset
A traditional village nestled in the Somerset Blackdown Hills, where the same families have run the farms and worked the land for generations; there are some pretty cottages, a chapel, a parish hall, and the popular Candelight Inn. Nearby are the beautiful Bishopswood Meadows and Otterhead Lakes, both a delight to stroll around. There’s a lovely walk through the woods to the neighbouring village of Buckland St Mary, and plenty more footpaths to explore within the parish – a great base for walking or doggie holidays!
