We just wanted to let you know that Pink Thatch has a new name – Pinklet! Everything else about this large holiday house in the West Country stays exactly the same. 6 bedrooms sleep up to 15 guests, interiors are quirky and homely, there’s stacks of country character, a games room and a gorgeous garden with a hot tub.
From Pink Thatch to Pinklet; this luxury holiday house for groups has a new name, that’s all, and it’s purely for business reasons. Lots of guests have enjoyed family holidays, short breaks with friends and peaceful celebrations here and that’s because there’s so much to love. A low thatched roof sits over soft pink walls and inside there’s no shortage of gorgeous rustic character; it’s the perfect country escape, set in large gardens where a stream tinkles merrily along by the hedge and birds chirrup happily from the treetops. There’s outdoor furniture and a barbecue area, and beneath a wooden arbour, a hot tub where you can sit back and watch cottonwool clouds drift by in a speedwell blue sky, or take a moonlit soak at night time.
Inside, Pinklet is so welcoming, with quirky interiors and modern fixtures and fittings that blend seamlessly with exposed timbers, latch and brace doors and thick stone walls. 6 beautiful bedrooms (4 ensuite) sleep 15 guests, there’s a games room and a big kitchen/dining room where you can all gather round the table for fantastic celebration feasts. Walk from the house to Seend Locks on the Kennet & Avon Canal, watch the ducks and swans and go for lunch at The Barge Inn, right on the waterside. Within a very short drive there are more country pubs, attractions to visit, and plenty of outdoor activities. Bradford on Avon is just over 6 miles away, eclectic Frome is 12 miles, and the achingly beautiful city of Bath with its Georgian architecture, magnificent abbey and Roman Baths is a similar distance. Book a stay at Pinklet and make memories to treasure.
