BBQ: Built-in charcoal barbecue (April-Oct) in outdoor kitchen, one bag of charcoal supplied.

BBQ Lodge: Charcoal bbq for year round use. One bag of charcoal supplied. 

Bed Linen and Towels: Duvets and pillows (synthetic fibres), bed linen, cot sheets, bath robes and towels are provided. Please bring your own towels and appropriate footwear for use with the pool and hot tub. 

CCTV/Noise Monitors: The Granary is set on a small complex that also has further holiday accommodation (see Inwood Farmhouse and Quantock Barns), a cafe/restaurant, commercial lets and a residential caravan park. At the far end of the site, completely away from The Granary, is a wedding venue and fishing lakes. The site operates 24 hour CCTV within and around the public/communal areas. Please see CCTV At Your Large Group Holiday House for more information.

Check In Details: This information can be accessed within your booking 4 weeks before your stay. Check in time - 4pm. Check out time - 10am.

Coffee Machine: Nespresso Krups machine with a small pack of pods provided.

Cots: 3 travel cots available on request. These are for infants aged 2 years and under. 

Decorations: Please be respectful if you wish to decorate the property for a special occasion. Guests must not bring balloons with glitter into the property or garden and must not stick anything to walls, fixtures or furnishings.

Dogs: 2 dogs welcome (small charge per pet). Please ensure you have read our Dog Rules before planning to bring your pet.

Electric Vehicle Charging: There are no EV charging points at this property. Due to insurance restrictions guests will not be able to use outdoor plugs or cables from the house to charge vehicles (see Electric Vehicle Charging and Holiday Accommodation). Please research the local area to find the nearest charging points.   

Essentials: Enough crockery and cutlery for a dinner party, glasses (tumblers, wine glasses, champagne flutes). 
Initial supplies* of the following: at least 2 toilet rolls per toilet, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, dish cloth, scourer sponge, oven gloves, kitchen roll, tin foil, cling film, bin bags, 2-in-1 washing powder, hand soap.
Hairdryers in all bedrooms, iron and ironing board.

*These items are not necessarily provided for the whole of your stay - you may need to buy more.

Features: Indoor pool, hot tub, Nordic style BBQ lodge, games area with pool table, games console, children's play equipment.

Food Deliveries: Dart Fresh, Asda, Sainsburys, Tesco, Waitrose and COOK will deliver to this property. Please arrange deliveries for after your 4pm arrival. We recommend that you put your name and mobile number on the delivery information.

Garden: Large gardens with patio, outdoor kitchen and garden furniture. Accessed via secure entry gates. 

Guests: This property sleeps 18 guests in 9 bedrooms. 6 more people can be accommodated on extra guest beds at an additional charge per person. For more details please see the floor plans

Highchairs: 3 available on request.

Hot Tub: The hot tub is outside the pool hall on the patio. It seats 8.

Kitchen/Utility: Electric range cooker with 3 ovens, extra electric oven, 5 ring induction hob, 2 fridge-freezers, 2 drinks fridges, 3 dishwashers, washing machine. 

Music: Sonos sound system throughout the ground floor, used by downloading the Sonos App onto your phone. Note that, as per our Terms and Conditions, no additional amplification equipment can be brought to this property.

Parking: Off road parking for several vehicles.  

Rooms: 9 ensuite bedrooms, large open plan living space, games area, utility/boot room, top floor kitchenette., WC.

Room Configurations: All rooms have zip and link beds that can be arranged as super kings or twins. 

Swimming Pool: The pool is in the attached pool hall and is heated to 28-30 degrees. It measures 10m x 5m with a constant depth of 1.2m. There are ladder steps for access. If guests wish to bring their own inflatables to use in the swimming pool these must not contain glitter.

TVs: Sky (Full package), TV downstairs, Freeview TVs upstairs all beds. These are all Smart TVs so streaming sites can be accessed with your own passwords.

Wifi: Broadband.

Please note that the following applies as per our Terms & Conditions and House Rules: No noise after 11pm (consideration for neighbouring properties) - no smoking or vaping – no candles, open flames, disposable barbecues, fireworks, lanterns or drones – personal electrical items must not be left charging unattended nor devices left plugged in whilst away from the property - appliances such as washing machines and cooking equipment should not be left running whilst away from the property – electrical items must only be used according to manufacturer’s instructions – personal extension leads and adapter blocks should not be used.

Note July 2023: Fields to the edge of the Quantocks Lake site are temporarily being used for agricultural machinery and storage. A planning application has been submitted to erect a wall and plant trees to ensure this is well screened from The Granary. In advance of this, agricultural machinery and storage can be seen in the distance from the outdoor eating area and from some of the Bedrooms.
