10/10 - Pound Farm is an excellent location for a family group. We loved it. We would love to return. The quality of the bedrooms and bathrooms is superb. There are communal rooms and external spaces which are perfect for eating, playing, chatting - and we are three generations. James, the host, was friendly and attentive. We felt very welcome. The local village of Bishop Ledyard has an excellent Coop supermarket. And Taunton is not far away. - Bell - Aug 26
10/10 - Perfection! We researched many for a family birthday gathering of 18 catering for oldies, young adults & smaller children. Pound Farm was our selection with enough configurable bedrooms, roomy facilities, big garden with seating, decent sized indoor pool - the hot tub + sauna was just icing on the cake. It far surpassed all expectations. James and Katie couldn't do more to make us welcome and explain workings but then remain discrete but available if needed. 10/10 - Pound Farm sets the bar very high! The place is spotless, the decor is a lovely mix of old and new and every bedroom has an ensuite! The bedding is comfortable and good quality. We especially liked the garden jacuzzi, the swimming pool and the sauna. There is a small village 10 minutes walk from the house with a pub and a few shops. It's perfect an extended family. It's private, quiet and the owners have provided many additional touches that make for a perfect getaway. Book it, you won't be disappointed! - Orton - Aug 26

10/10 - We came as a family of 16, 2 babies, two 3 year olds and the rest were adults. Such a fabulous property. Perfectly configured for our family & their young families. Such spacious rooms. Loved the kitchen which was perfectly stocked with everything we needed. The dining room was perfect to sit around to eat, play cards & games. The outdoor area was great for just chillin or for playing games. We loved the swimming pool & hot Tub. Pizza oven was fun & we had plenty of BBq’s. 10/10 - Katie and James were fantastic, on hand for any query. House is wonderful, exceptionally clean, with enough of everything for a large family longer stay eg, seating, crockery, cutlery. Pool table, games room, sauna, pool, BBQ and pizza oven all excellent. Good privacy with lovely outdoors area with hot tub in quiet country surrounding. Pound Farm is a real gem. - Lewis - July 26

10/10 - We had a wonderful time at Pound Farm for our 50th birthday celebrations! Lovely big house and enclosed garden where our dog was safe to run around. We had great weather to enjoy sitting outside and in the hot tub, and we loved the swimming pool - perfect size and temperature. Beautiful views of surrounding hills and farmland, and kind and welcoming hosts. Highly recommend! - Strange - May 26
10/10 - Beautiful property that had everything you could need. The owners were very attentive and friendly. The location is perfect, next to a working farm, so lots of baby lambs for the kids to watch and the local village is just a 10 minute walk through fields. 10/10 - Fantastic property — very well equipped, warm, and with great facilities. It was ideal for a multi-generational get-together in a peaceful setting, with lovely walks right from the doorstep. 10/10 - We have just returned from the best group holiday we have had in years, staying at Pound Farm for my 50th birthday. The property was outstanding, with so much to do for the adults and children in our party. The indoor pool, hot tub and sauna, as well as the games room, kept everyone entertained. The house was well equipped with everything you need for a weekend break. The bedrooms were spacious and cosy and the dining room was large enough to seat us all for meals together. Pool, hot tub and sauna all in perfect working order. Friendly, welcoming and painstaking hosts - nothing is too much trouble and exceptional attention to detail. 10/10 - Sleeps 12 were always extremely helpful when we had a query and were very quick to reply to anything we asked. They were also very knowledgeable about property and area. Owners were also available if needed but the need never really arose. It was all wonderful. Property was perfect for our family. 10/10 - WOW - what a fabulous property. All the bedrooms are ensuite and very comfortable, lovely linens and large towels. We loved all the facilities - the pool was amazing, hot tub easily sat 6 of us and was great with the large umbrella over to shade the sun (which we luckily had all week), Lots of games, croquet and pool table to keep everyone entertained. The house is absolutely fantastic, we had an amazing time celebrating an 18th Birthday. I would definitely recommend this house and there isn’t anything I could identify to improve. The house was fabulous, plenty of space to spread out with the family. The pool and hot tub were amazing, the kids were never out of either. The games room was another well-used room for us all. 10/10 - The pool was a big hit, as was the hot tub. Lovely big dining table. Bedrooms are very large and comfy. The log fire made the sitting room very pleasant at night.
