10/10 - We stayed here for a chilled hen weekend away and had the best time ever. The property was perfect for multiple adults, the comfiest beds ever and every bathroom having an ensuite is such a nice touch. The kitchen has everything you could need and more, including a nespresso coffee machine! The pool was a great size and heated perfectly. We’d stay again in a heartbeat (time to get planning the next girls trip!). We didn’t venture out much because we didn’t need to! Tesco also delivers here! - Dulake - Oct 26

10/10 - The house was perfect for what we wanted. Several generations of family gathered for a family birthday and the layout was perfect for it. The fact that everyone had their own bathroom was a plus. Everyone slept well as the beds were very comfortable and the swimming pool was enjoyed by everyone. The weather was dry so we spread out onto the patio area with the doors open so that we could still see/communicate with people inside. Couldn’t recommend Foxcombe more! - Wyatt - Sept 26

10/10 - Lovely property - pool was amazing for the kids.- Stackhouse - Aug 26

10/10 - We had a wonderful week at Foxcombe with our extended family. The house was beautiful: very clean and well-equipped, great swimming pool (where we had lots of fun) and lovely little touches throughout like a cake left for us as a treat on arrival. Thank you so much to Sam and the team - we highly recommend staying here! - Nuamah - July 26

10/10 - Foxcombe is a great house for a family get together. The house has everything you needed for a lovely stay, kitchen was well equipped and the bbq was excellent. The pool was a bonus as we were they in the heatwave. Sam the manager was brilliant by making sure the property was as cool as possible on our arrival. - Crockford - June 26

10/10 - Great for a large family and it had 2 dishwashers. It also had 2 fridges and 2 freezer’s. Which was needed for a large group. It was clean and tidy and the beds were made up to our requirements. Great place and we will hopefully come back in the Summer to use all of the facilities available. Willmott - Feb 26

10/10 - Lovely week spent at Foxcombe over new year 3 generations making lovely memories very clean and comfortable pool was great the grand children had the most fun. Would recommend Foxcombe for a large group to stay and have a great time. - George - Jan 26

10/10 - Excellent accommodation (for 7 adults and 6 children/teenagers) the house was decorated ready for Christmas. We had a full Christmas lunch all of the utensils needed were available. Due to the installation and heating the house was incredibly warm. The overall facilities could be improved by having larger TVs in the bedroom, but other than that a great house and location - some great pubs in the vicinity!. Would book again in a heartbeat. - Orledge - Dec 25

8/10 - Property was well equipped for our party of 14. Initial problem with pool temperature was dealt with by the manager. She was easily contacted, and responded promptly. Rising Sun pub and small supermarket in nearby villages are good, but like all amenities in area require car transport. - Heaton - Oct 25

10/10 - Pool was s great success and the trampoline was a big hit. The house was loved by all! - Lancashire - Aug 25

8/10 - Family times in the house and pool. Lovely farm visit. Dunster beach visit. Great family holiday, thank you. - Sailsbury - Aug 25

10/10 - Foxcombe is great for a family get together. The flexibility of being able to have double or twin rooms in any combination was ideal for us. Kitchen was well equipped (a couple more small kitchen knives would have been useful - and fewer large ones) and the BBQ was excellent. - Jonson-Hill - July 25

10/10 - We stayed in mostly, but did go to The Rising Sun Inn for food, which was delicious. - Vohmann - June 25

10/10 - The house was so lovely we didn’t venture out! The surrounding area looked very nice though. The double dishwasher was brilliant! As was the two fridges. The pool was amazing, the grandchildren loved it!! - Doig - June 25

10/10 - Swimming pool was well used by us along with the garden and play area. House was very clean and well maintained though we found the door to the pool tricky to lock. Also no serving dishes or spoons which seemed odd as the house was well stocked with plenty of crockery etc. Great place which I would love to visit again. - MacKenzie - June 25

9/10 - Great service with booking, very thorough. Good communication with company during our stay as well. Thank you Sam! We went to Kilve Beach, beautiful. Very pebbly but great rock pools and searching for fossils. - Teager - May 25

10/10 - We had a lovely stay but these properties always lack sun beds as there are 10 of us and only 4 beds! Cockercombe was much nicer than Foxcombe for us. Foxcombe in comparison was a little run down. But we enjoyed our stay. We missed the table tennis. - Mueller - May 25

10/10 - Perfect property for a family break. The property is clean, well-equipped and suitable for all ages! The swimming pool was very clean and warm, our granddaughters and their friends enjoyed it! - Burns - Apr 25

10/10 - Very spacious but homely lodge. Worked very well for our 5 families with children aged 10,8 3 and 2 babies. Well appointed kitchen. All the bedrooms had lovely bathrooms. The pool was fabulous, we all spent fun time in it every day. A cleverly designed property that gave us all a terrific weeks holiday. - McGovern - Apr 25

8/10 - The main problem was banging our heads on the low ceilings upstairs & cooker hood! But overall a great house and lovely family break. The house was very well kitted out. - Portch - Apr 25

10/10 - Thanks for a great stay in a lovely house. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the house was well equipped. We enjoyed having our own private pool. Our only suggestion would be to make the handheld showers in the baths convertible to overhead showers by adding higher clips and possibly screens. Communication throughout was great, and checkin was straightforward. - Evans - Jan 25

10/10 - Everything was fantastic including the communication with house keeper - she was lovely and gave us some ideas on where to eat too. The pool guy also made my boy's day by saying we could keep some leftover inflatables in the pool, so he had a blast during the week! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property and stay again soon! - Marshall - Nov 24

10/10 - Foxcombe was the perfect party house to celebrate my 70th Birthday. Sam the manager messaged me to let me know the house was ready for us half an hour earlier than expected. He was also very helpful when I had a query concerning a radiator.. My family loved the pool and made full use of it everyday. - Shambrook - Oct 24

10/10 - We enjoyed everything about the Lodge. Spacious, very comfortable beds, en suite , Lovely furnishings. Some family members loved the coffee machine. Table football is well-used. Great cooking facilities and 2 dishwashers. A delicious cake left for my birthday. But the swimming pool was what everyone enjoyed the most. - Moore - Oct 24

10/10 - Pool was fab, we loved the addition of the pool toys left behind by the precious family. All the bedrooms were beautifully finished and all but one had en quite so it meant that no one in our party was disappointed. All of our children were well catered for, lovely toddler beds with bedding, a cot and high hair plus a cupboard full of kids plates, bowls and cutlery. We were so happy with the house and we can't wait to come again! - Nelson - June 24
