A sauna ups the lux and is just the thing for hen weekends and private spa breaks. It’s a great way to relax and rejuvenate and comes with so many health benefits. A sauna uses dry or wet heat to induce heavy sweating, which in turn promotes cardiovascular health by increasing heart rate and circulation, and lowering blood pressure. It relaxes muscles, reduces pain and tension.

The endorphins that are released during a sauna session lower cortisol levels and reduce stress, making you feel relaxed. The immune system is stimulated, the skin is cleansed and toxins removed. Have a sauna in the evening and the chances are you’ll sleep well.

Most of the saunas at our properties are the electric or infrared type, which take 10-30 minutes to heat up.
