For days out there are countless award-winning attractions; families will have heaps of fun at Drusillas Park and Knockhatch Adventure Park, culture vultures will adore Charleston, home to the Bloomsbury artists, and if you like historic houses and gardens, Michelham Priory and Firle Place will appeal.

East Sussex is famous for its natural beauty, with the South Downs National Park covering a vast area from inland to the sea; get out there and explore, go walking, cycling or horseriding and you’ll soon see how spectacular The Downs are, dotted with picturesque villages like Alfriston and Berwick, and lots of excellent country pubs.
