The scenery is wonderful anytime of year with sun dappled woodlands in the summer and spectacular colours in the autumn; even in the depths of winter it's well worth wrapping up warm for a stroll. look up, look down, look all around because any such environment is a world of discovery - look out for birdlife, see squirrels scampering about and look among the leaf litter and fallen branches to uncover all kinds of creepy crawlies.
