Golfers of all abilities are welcome at Wheathill Golf Club near Somerton. The 18 hole parkland course isn’t the toughest but it’s not without its challenges with mature trees, bunkers and hidden water hazards. Stop off at the well stocked Pro Shop to let them know you’ve arrived and then go and have a warm up on the Academy Course, or practise your swing on the Driving Range.
Even if you’re not such an ace shot and don’t get on so well on the greens, you’ll still have an enjoyable day surrounded by gorgeous Somerset countryside and if you fancy it, a good pint of ale in the clubhouse to round it off.
