The Pear Tree, Sherborne, Dorset
This traditional licensed deli in the centre of historic Sherborne has an award winning café that you can go to from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays, with an extension til 6 pm on Saturdays, and a slightly shorter day of 10.30 am-5 pm on Sundays. Worth popping in if you’re out and about visiting the beautiful Abbey or the castle.
For breakfast you can have the Pear Tree Big Breakfast, the Pear Tree Small Breakfast, or the Pear Tree Veggie Breakfast; if you’re into more wholesome stuff then opt for Primrose Kitchen orange and cashew granola with yoghurt, or Primrose Kitchen muesli with raw carrot, apple, cinnamon and yoghurt.
For lunch there’s a whole lot of delights that will tickle your tastebuds, from Deli Platters, Ploughmans and Burgers to Sirloin Steak Ciabatta, Smoked Haddock Fishcakes and Griddled Halloumi, Beetroot and Orange Salad. The sandwich and toastie menu lists a dozen choices, so there’s something for all tastes, and there’s a few things especially for the litt’luns.
