The Ferry Boat Inn, Dittisham, Devon
You can’t miss this bubblegum pink painted pub in the little village of Dittisham; it’s not just the colour but the setting too, right on the banks of the River Dart – the sort of view that sometimes, you just can’t get enough of. It’s a friendly place and it seems to do very well serving the local community and people who come to these parts on holiday or for the yachting. The tucker’s good too, so they say, generous portions, very well cooked and full of flavour, so what’s not to like? It’s not enormous, far from it, but they’ll do their best to accommodate you though it’s always best to book ahead.
