The Anchor Inn, Seatown, Bridport, Dorset
The Anchor Inn is an award winning right on the beach at Seatown, tucked away around the winding lanes on the Dorset coast. Walk down over the cliffs on the South West Coast Path from Golden Cap or Langdon Hill and sip a rewarding pint on the terrace, or stop for a bite to eat. The menu is very much inspired by the abundance of local produce that’s available in these parts, including of course, fish fresh from the sea. Mains include The Anchor Inn fish pie, 5 spice marinated slow roasted pork belly, Pan fried John Dory fillets, and Roasted Autumn squash. They also do Ploughmans and filled rolls, and one or two courses ‘Golden Cappers’ for smaller appetites. Dog friendly.
