Hillview Riding Stables, Crewkerne, Somerset
Hillview Riding Stables is a family run business near Crewkerne that offers hacks and riding instruction for all abilities, so don’t worry if you’re not used to being in the saddle, they have a horse to suit you. Hacks are for smaller groups of 6 – a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours trekking through the beautiful Somerset countryside with qualified instructors. Groups of 10 can book for hour long sessions in the indoor arena, so it doesn’t matter what the weather’s up to. Children must be at least 3 years of age and there’s a weight limit of 14.5 stone, so bear that in mind. You’ll need to book well in advance because they’re very busy folk here.
