These little Treasure Trail Hunts are a great idea – something for the whole family to get stuck into, all done in your own time at your own pace. Tie it in with lunch or tea in town and that’s most of the day sorted, smiles all around.
Devizes has a fair amount of history to discover and you’ll see it all as you go around solving clues to work out where the hidden treasure is buried. The trail includes a short stroll along the Kennet & Avon canal where you might see ducks dabbling and swans graciously gliding by. Allow a couple of hours and bear in mind that one booklet is easily adequate for 4-5 people; if you get really stuck there’s a mobile phone text service you can turn to for help, and if you get all the answers right you’ll be entered in a prize draw with the chance to win £100.
