Denbies Conservatory Restaurant, Dorking, Surrey

For al-fresco dining with an all-round relaxed feel, Denbies Conservatory Restaurant is spot on. With all its lush greenery and all that glass filling the room with light, this restaurant has such a delightful atmosphere. A water feature stands in the centre of the room; close your eyes for a moment and that calming sound of running water makes you feel like you’re outside among nature. We also like that they pride themselves on using fresh local ingredients here, all ethical and sustainable for the community, environment and businesses. That’s good.
Go along and have a Denbies Surrey Hills breakfast, or if you fancy popping in for a light lunch, they serve a range of salads, local cheese platters, homemade soups and freshly made sandwiches and paninis. There are plenty of teas and coffees to choose from too, so you could rock up for afternoon tea - sweet pastries, homemade cakes and freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam.
It’s advisable to book, and If you want to make a day out of it, plan your visit to tie in with a tour of Denbies Wine Estate, or a stroll around Denbies Hillside.
