Café on the Barge, Bathampton, Near Bath, Somerset
This is a popular place, especially in the summer, and no wonder, the setting is lovely, right on the Kennet & Avon Canal in the village of Bathampton just two miles from Bath. People tend to stop off here for tea and home made cake when they’re cycling along the towpath, and what’s nice is that you can sit inside, out on the deck, or beneath the trees. Feed the ducks, do some people watching or just let the world drift by and have a mindful moment or two.
