Get cooking in the outdoor kitchen, perfect your pizzas in the porch, thrash out a few games of table tennis, play pool or table football, and when all’s done, wander off to the Wonky Bar to sing along to your favourite choons on the juke box and sip your margaritas. Sit back in the hot tub and just love the vibe of being the only people on the island, dare to dream. Saunter down to the shore to take in spectacular sunsets.
Inside this light and airy house 8 spacious bedrooms sleep 16 and one, a dorm style room, has room for another 6 in bunk beds and 4 singles at an extra charge per person, bigging your group up to 22. There’s a huge living room/games room, a dining room to seat all, and a very well-equipped kitchen. If you come for a very special celebration and book private chefs, they can work unhindered in the second kitchen – it’s all so well thought out.
And it’s not just the island that’s private – the lake is too, used only by a water skiing club, so you can watch the action from the shore. A 20ft zone of the waters around the island is yours, though it’s not for swimming; no reason why you can’t dangle your feet in, though, or slip your drinks in to keep cool.
