The River Wye

Did you know that the River Wye is the fifth longest river in the UK? It winds its way contentedly from Mid Wales to the Severn Estuary, passing through Hereford, Hay-on-Wye, and Monmouth, and through picturesque villages and beautiful countryside of lush meadows and deep wooded valleys rich in wildlife. Along its course there are plenty of opportunities for canoeing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. The Wye is gorgeous in the summer when the trees are in full life, but in autumn when the colours are changing – oh my!
