The Flintlock Inn, Marsh, Honiton, Devon
This traditional country pub not far from Honiton gets very good reviews for the food it serves, which is why it’s more one for diners rather than drinkers. It feels nice, the service is attentive and as the reviews say, the food is excellent, cooked with flair and imagination. The menu has quite a lot on it so there’s something for all tastes, portions are quite generous, and even the bread is made in-house.
Open: Lunchtimes 12.00-2.00 pm every day but Monday when they’re closed all day, and in the evenings 6.00 pm-9.00 pm, except Sunday when they open at 6.30 pm.
