The Crooked Swan, Crewkerne, Somerset

The Crooked Swan is an 18th century coaching inn right in the middle of the little town of Crewkerne in South Somerset; walk in and flying high above you there’s a swan, wings outstretched, slightly wonky, hence the name (it used to be The Swan). The décor is very on trend with creative touches and several nooks and crannies to poke your nose in. Hats off to the owners who have brought this place right into the 21st century, making it look nice and extending a warm welcome to everyone, families and dogs included.
The menu is their own take on pub grub –for lunch there’s Steak and Otter Ale Pie, Crooked Swan Burger, Fish Finger Sandwich, Slow Cooked Beef and Yorkshire Pudding Burrito and the like. There’s also an A La Carte menu with more fancy dishes on it, like Duo of Lamb, Pan fried Duck Breast, Stone Bass Fillet, Pan friend Halibut.
