The Causeway Restaurant & Bar are within the grounds of Herefordshire Golf Club but that doesn’t mean you have to be a member to come and enjoy fine dining in lovely surroundings.
Inside is rather elegant and contemporary, with large windows giving phenomenal views over the course and the unspoilt countryside; outside on the terrace those vistas are even better - that and the food, it makes for such a good experience. This is one you’ll be telling your friends about for sure.
The menu follows the seasons and as you’d expect, local ingredients are used as much as possible in the All Day Brunch and Sunday Lunch. The menu for the latter has tempting starters like Salt hake and chorizo fishcake, and Gressingham duck & pink peppercorn rillette; move on to mains of Roasted pork loin, Herefordshire roast sirloin beef, or Wild mushroom & walnut tagliatelle, round it off nicely with a selection of British cheeses or Dark chocolate tart.
