The Batherm Valley, Devon
Oh to be here! Lush green pastures, softly rolling hills, and steep wooded hillsides, with the River Batherm winding its way down through the deep valley, singing as it goes, to join the Exe at Bampton. Find a walking route and amble through this most picturesque of dingley dells on the edge of Exmoor National Park; take your time, look around you, find a place to stop for a short while and just drink in the inspiring scenery. It’s uplifting and refreshing; it’s still a beautiful world.
