Being right on the seafront at Lyme Regis, SWiM has the most amazing sea views, so naturally, it has its lure. But no one goes to a restaurant just for the view, and the guys that run this place know that so they make sure the food they serve is good too. You can go there for breakfast from 8.00 am and kick start your day with the likes of a Full English, Smoked salmon and scrambled egg, Brioche French toast, or a bacon roll/sausage sandwich. Go for lunch or dinner and you’ll find salads and burgers on the menu, along with delights like Thai yellow curry with brown rice, cauliflower and chickpeas, so plenty of choice for those who follow a non-carnivorous diet. There’s a big focus on fish of course, after all, this is the seaside; Whole Roasted Sea Bream, Cornish Mussels cooked in white wine and garlic cream, Beer battered local fish and chips.
Inside is that rustic-meets-industrial look with lots of wooden panelling and hand crafted benches, outside there’s a terrace where you get the best of the sea views and can watch the comings and goings along the Marine Parade.
