A feast for your belly and your eyes awaits you at Roth Bar & Grill within the Hauser & Wirth modern art gallery in Bruton. This former threshing barn has been totally re-imagined and is now a restaurant and bar, with contemporary art on the walls and a stunning centrepiece bar made from things found and salvaged. The food is amazing, with daily changing menus inspired by the West Country and a huge focus on seasonal and sustainable - most of the ingredients come from the kitchen garden and the surrounding fields.
Go for lunch or dinner; savour a sharing board or pastries, tuck into the likes of Broad bean falafel & Roundhill garden salad, Buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with harissa slaw and fries, or Roth Bar smash burger with Ogleshield cheese, bred and butter pickles and fries. Linger on the terrace with a cocktail, a locally crafted beer or cider from the orchard.
