If you’re not the fainthearted sort, more of gung-ho spirit get on over to Keypitts Off Road Adventures near Ilfracombe for outdoor thrills and spills in the beautiful Devon countryside. Go on a Quad Bike Safari, vrooming around the 200 acre site with tracks through woodland, water splashes and fields; they have trails for different ages and abilities ranging from the Badger Run for the under 7s up to the Superskill Ride – are you brave enough??
They do 4x4 Land Rover Experiences too, same terrain so you’ll be really putting your driving skills to the test. You’ll need your driving licence for this one and if you have it, you can take 3 passengers, but if you haven’t got your licence for whatever reason 4 of you can go out for a spin with one of the instructors.
You can also hire sports bikes, try your hand at axe throwing and Battlezone Archery, which is when you start to come over all Game of Thrones. Keypitts Off Road Adventures are open all year round whatever the weather on the basis of the wetter the better, and there’s no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing, so make sure you’re suitable togged up.
