If you go this award winning café and farm shop in Dawlish, expect to see plenty of mushroom dishes on the menu; they grow their own here, lots of different types, and you can even go and see the Shroom Rooms where it all happens. It’s an unassuming kind of place, the food is organic and home made and is served from 9.00am to 2.00pm. Go for breakfast or brunch, have bagels, waffles, or a bacon bap, or if you like what they grow go for Shrooms on Toast, Shrooms on a Stack, Eggs Champignon, Garlic Mushrooms, or Mushroom Soup. Bear in mind that it’s only a small place so if a big group of you rock up unannounced there might not be room for you all at once.
The Farm Shop has an array of local goodies – meat, cheese, fruit and veg, fresh bread, pies, pickles, cakes, and a good gluten free range too. Stock up whilst you’re here.
