What they do at Devon Rum Co on the appropriately named Island Street in Salcombe is take a unique blend of Caribbean rum and enhance it with pure Devon spring water, whole aromatic spices, the freshest citrus zest and the finest wholly natural flavourings. The results are, needless to say, amazing so it’s no surprise that these people have won awards for their hand crafted rum.
They do a Rum Tasting & Tour Experience and Rum Cocktail Masterclasses – both are a great thing to do if there’s a group of you staying nearby at your large holiday house in Devon, and it makes an excellent birthday present; it’s something different, it’s unique – plus, you get to try some gorgeous rum cocktails and a 10% discount in the shop. What’s not to like?
