If you’ve got younger folk with you on your large group holiday in Surrey, something they’ll thank you for is a visit to Bocketts Farm Park. Thank you for? Hang on - they’ll absolutely love it! Yhey won’t stop talking about it for weeks, and that’s understandable because a trip to Bocketts Farm is quite literally shed loads of fun!
It’s an all weather place this, so remember that, if it’s pouring with rain and the kids are going a bit stir crazy. There’s a massive indoor play barn with a soft play area and a whopper of a 4 lane astro-slide, a Young Driver’s Zone for the under 5’s, and 6 big undercover trampolines. Outside there are Go-karts, a jumping pillow, Treehouse Towers play area and a Water Wars area for the warmer weather. That’s not all though – this is a farm, so of course there are ANIMALS! Oh yes, they’ve got the lot! Meet sheeps, goats, llamas, pigs and cows in the Animal Discovery Barn, stroke rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and chipmunks at Little Hoppington, and head to the Stable Yard to see the Giant Poitou donkeys and take pony rides around the woodland track. On the Farm Walk you’ll see animals in their paddocks happily grazing, and you might catch the resident herd of Swedish fallow deer. Twice a day there are pig races, so go and cheer them on and then round it off with a nice fat cake in the Old Barn Tearooms. Brilliant, and even more so considering it’s still a family run working farm.
