North Devon

North Devon is a popular destination for large group holidays and we’ve got some of the best large accommodation for you, with private pools, hot tubs, saunas, games rooms, children’s play areas and BBQ lodges – in other words, something for all ages. Come and explore this beautiful part of the UK and you’ll find spectacular scenery, a beautiful coastline and plenty to see and do. Visit family attractions like Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way Adventure Park, Exmoor Zoo, RHS Garden Rosemoor, Quince Honey Farm near South Molton (The Gateway to Exmoor), and the picturesque village of Clovelly. Ride the Victorian Cliff Railway at Lynton & Lynmouth, get close up to the marine life of the North Devon coast at Ilfracombe Aquarium, watch glass blowing at Dartington Crystal.

Spend the day on the beach at Ilfracombe, Putsborough Sands, Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands. The long stretches of golden sands are ideal for family days out and these shores are a huge pull to surfers who come to catch the rolling white breakers of the Atlantic Ocean; if you prefer a quieter scene head for Barricane Beach or Instow where you can take the foot ferry across to Appledore, with its quiet harbour and colourful cottages. If the great outdoors is calling pick up the Tarka Trail from Barnstaple and go exploring on foot or by bike. Have a day discovering the delights of Exmoor National Park where you can see wild ponies grazing on the heathery heaths; go to the Valley of Rocks, Tarr Steps, Selworthy Green and Watersmeet, rounded off with a Devon cream tea at one of the charming little tea rooms. Tis bootiful, as they say in these parts.
