The House

Step into a wide hallway where on the left is the living/dining room, a huge light and airy space that wraps around one side of the house; doors open onto the terrace, off right is the bespoke kitchen. Next to it there’s a snug, great for a quiet chat or for younger children to play.

Straight ahead in the hallway there’s a cloakroom, and to the right, a utility room also accessed from the covered area outside - handy for when you come back from a country walk with muddy boots and wet dogs. At the end of the hall is Bedroom 1, access friendly with snooze space for 4 and an ensuite wet room. The whole of the ground floor is wheelchair friendly.

Upstairs are Bedrooms 2-6 and a family bathroom. Bedroom 2 has room for 2 extra guest beds (extra charge – see Extras), floor to ceiling windows give astounding views across the valley.  Good to know is that all beds are zip and link (super king or twin).

Just across the lawn, with keypad lock, is the spa hall with a 13.5m L-shaped pool, a ground level hot tub, sauna, changing rooms, showers and WC.

The large landscaped gardens are beautiful, with a lavender edged pergola, meandering paths that slope gently round and about, and surprises around almost every corner. There are several seating areas; on the terrace outside the house is The Giant's Table, the patio outside the spa hall makes a lovely spot for morning coffee.

Children will love the roundabout and climbing fort, the ground level trampoline, and covered games area. Explore the farmland and you’ll find a Stamp Box challenge and woods with log swings and a slide. It’s all so magical, so very special.
