Ramscombe - Accommodation
Ramscombe is a luxury timber-clad lodge that was designed with happy holidays in mind, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Step into the hallway and off to the left is a huge open plan living space that has a well-equipped kitchen to one end and a very comfortable lounge area to the other; in the middle is a big dining table that nicely sets the scene for celebrations feasts. Here is a place where you can all get together for movie nights, games nights, to watch the latest big match, and for happy sociable times all round. Floor to ceiling doors allow the natural light to pour in and when it’s warm outside you can open them wide and let the sunshine in. Right of the hall are Bedroom 1-3; all the bedrooms at Ramscombe except Bedroom 3 have TVs and all have zip and link beds that you can have arranged as super kings or twins. Bedroom 1 has an ensuite shower room and doors that open onto the patio, perfect for a sneaky night cap beneath the stars or to pop out nice and early for morning coffee. Bedroom 2 has an ensuite bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, and Bedroom 3 has an ensuite shower room. There’s also a WC accessed from the hall.
Just beyond the kitchen in the open plan living space stairs rise to a mezzanine landing that doubles up as a games area with table football; further on are Bedrooms 4 and 5, both with ensuite shower rooms. Bedroom 4 makes an excellent family room as the two zip and link beds mean that you have a choice of two super kings, a super king and two singles, or even 4 singles; that makes great dormitory style sleeping arrangements for older children. Left of the mezzanine is Bedroom 6, another room with an ensuite shower room.
Opposite the main living space is the indoor heated pool, all yours to use as much as you like throughout your stay. There’s plenty of room for loungers and there are big doors you can open wide to make indoors and outdoors merge together for a fantastic holiday vibe. Many happy hours will be spent splashing about in the pool and what’s great is that because it’s indoors, it doesn’t matter at all what the weather is doing. Heaps of fun come rain or shine!
Gather together on the patio for long lazy barbecues and alfresco lunches, watch the youngsters having a barrel of fun on the play equipment and trampoline, join in and play ping-pong with them, have a family boules match.
