Set in a tiny hamlet on the edge of Exmoor National Park, The Grace House is a former gentleman’s residence built over 300 years go – rumour has it, by smuggler brothers. But there’s nothing untoward here these days, now it’s a very lovely large group holiday house that sleeps 24 in 10 bedrooms spread over the 3 storey house, an adjoining annexe and 2 Garden Rooms. It’s perfect for friends and family to enjoy happy holidays and extra special celebrations, or for walking breaks. Lots of the original country character has been retained inside and out, and there’s plenty to keep all ages smiling – a hot tub, games room, children’s playroom, and even your very own bar.

At the front of the house there’s a lawn and pond, at the back there’s a cobbled courtyard and a large and leafy garden with heaps of space to enjoy outdoor dining and to play. Easy to get to from the M5 motorway, The Grace House is perfectly located for days on the beaches of the Somerset coast – the golden sands at Blue Anchor and Minehead are only a few miles away. If you want family days out, you shall have them; the beautiful Exmoor landscape is right on the doorstep, with cosy country pubs, picturesque villages, exciting activties, and award winning attractions like Dunster Castle and The West Somerset Railway all waiting to be discovered.
