The House
The main house is part original stone, part timber clad. Step into the games room where there’s a pool table and an arcade machine; wander through to the living room where relaxation comes with a big fat capital R. Next to it is the sleekly stylish kitchen, with everything you need to make catering for a large group stress free. Dress the table for the best celebration feast ever, pile it with food and tuck in; book private chefs (see Extras) to do all the hard work, right down to clearing away at the end of the night.
Left of the games room are Bedrooms 1-3, upstairs Bedrooms 4 -7 and more play space with an enormous shuffleboard. Bedroom 7is a whopper of a room that sleeps 7 - brilliant for families and friends sharing, or as a dorm for older kids.
Just a few strides away is the tower, clad in dusky pink steel, all insulated and cosy. Bedroom 8 is on the ground floor, Bedroom 9 is upstairs, with its own entrance up the curly stairs. Both rooms are round and have circular beds to match.
At the front of the house there’s a big terrace with an outdoor cooking area. Fire up the BBQ or the pizza oven, get ready to dine in the sunshine. There’s an all-weather lawn, and the stainless steel hot tub and pool; imagine the Insta pics – those glass ends on the pool are something else!
The vibe is rustic-modern with exposed stonework and bare wood, skilfully mixed with colourful interiors – big bold florals, antique fabrics and old pictures. What a backdrop to your stay!
