This is Ducky Bird Island, reached from the mainland only by boat*. The gardens wrap around this striking contemporary house and have for your entertainment a hot tub, outdoor table tennis, an outdoor kitchen, and a rustic style Wonky Bar. Inside there’s a games room, living room, dining room and kitchen, and 10 bedrooms to sleep 20, plus room for 2 more guests (extra charge - see Extras) in bunk beds.
You’ve got your own little world here so going out might not even cross your mind. Why would it, when there’s plenty to keep you happy right here? But just across the water there are watersports and therapy rooms where you can book for pampering or a Japanese Head Spa. Once you’re on the mainland it’s not far to country pubs, award-winning attractions and Oxford with its famous museums and dreaming spires.

"My 80th birthday party with 20 family stayed at this amazing Island in Oxfordshire. It was absolutely perfect from start to finish! Commenced with Graze board and bubbly, catchup chats and games, a private chef arrived to prepare evening meal. Then a magician ( luland magic) enthralled us with his amazing tricks. Brilliant ! Joined in with all our banter too, what a lovely guy. We all sat down to a really delicious meal which catered for Coeliac ( gluten free) and vegetarian. Plenty of food left for brunch next day despite our best efforts. Next Birthday cake ! We followed this with silly party games. Following morning some had to say goodbye as flying back to Spain but four of us then braved the outdoor hot tub which was perfect temperature and finished off a perfect weekend. If I could give 10 stars I would. Host Adele couldn’t have been more helpful even bringing some steps to enable my husband to enter boat easily. AMAZING!"
