Ebbor Gorge, Somerset
If you’re up in the Mendip Hills whilst on your UK family holiday or walking break in Somerset, go to Ebbor Gorge, not far from Wookey Hole. This peaceful nature reserve is a mix of grassland, woodland, rocks and caves; there are three marked trails, one being suitable for buggies and wheelchairs. The little ones will have great fun exploring, splashing in the streams and clambering over fallen trees, and there are plenty of opportunities for nature spotting.
