Bewdley, Worcestershire

Bewdley is a pretty Georgian town on the River Severn in Worcestershire; it's a good place to stop off at for a wander round if you're having a day out, perhaps on your way home from the Wyre Forest or The West Midlands Safari Park. Shops are mostly independent so have a browse and if you've time, pop in the museum; it's always nice to find out a bit about the places you visit and whilst you're here you can see displays of the crafts and trades that helped to shape the town - coopering, basket making, charcoal burning and tanning. Linger by the riverside, enjoy the views and watch the world go by. For eats try Mulberry Restaurant, The Hop Pole Inn, or The Garden Kitchen.
