Bewdley, Worcestershire

Bewdley is an attarctive Georgian town on the River Severn in Worcestershire; it's a good place to stop off at for a wander round if you're having a day out when you're on your large group holidays in the UK, perhaps on your way home from the Wyre Forest or The West Midlands Safari Park.

The shops in Bewdley are mostly independent so have a browse around and if you've time, pop in the museum where you can see displays of the crafts and trades that helped to shape the town - coopering, basket making, charcoal burning and tanning, all interesting stuff. Linger by the riverside, enjoy the views and watch the world go by, then go to The Hop Pole Inn, or The Garden Kitchen for something to eat,
