Escape to Exmoor for your next large group gathering in the UK. On the edge of the National Park, The Grace House sleeps 24 in 12 bedrooms and has a games room, children’s playroom, and wait for it… a private bar. Outside there are large gardens for outdoor fun and dining; sit back in the hot tub, listen to the breeze whispering in the treetops and the birds twittering away.

The Grace House has everything you need for a big happy stay with the people you love most in the world – plus a whole load of history. It was built over 300 years ago as a ‘gentleman’s residence’ – according to local stories, by brothers who were smugglers! In more recent years it’s been a pub and a hotel, but now it’s found its place as a luxury large group holiday house. And it’s been done so well, original character blends seamlessly with modern country interiors and all the creature comforts you'll need; it’s welcoming and it’s homely.

The bedrooms are arranged over the three floors of the main house, the adjoining annexe and the self-contained Garden Room, so this works incredibly well for families and friends. The annexe and the Garden Room are great for people who like their own space, who don’t always want to be with the crowd. There are two suites with two bedrooms and an ensuite shower room, which works really well for a family – parents in one room, children in the other. With all the other bedrooms also having ensuite facilities, there won’t be any queues for the bathroom in the morning.

And what fun you’ll have, with a games room, a playroom, a big garden to run about in, a hot tub, and your own private bar that gives you the perfect place to gather together. You can even stage your own pub quiz! For sunnier days there’s a cobbled courtyard at the back of the house, and the lawns, so heaps of room for you all indoors and out.

Exmoor is a lovely part of the world for a large group stay friends and family holiday or celebration. There is so much to discover, from the wildness of the open moors to sun dappled river valleys, from picturesque villages to long sandy beaches. You’ll find cosy country pubs and tea rooms, award-winning family attractions, and miles and miles of walking trails. Highlights include the sweeping views at Dunkery Beacon, the ancient clapper bridge at Tarr Steps, the lushness of the Lorna Doone Valley and the picture-postcard thatched cottages at Selworthy. While away days on the beach at Blue Anchor or Minehead, stack up on centuries of history at Dunster Castle and Cleeve Abbey. Love a family day out meeting the animals at Doniford Farm Park, sit back for a ride on a heritage steam train with the West Somerset Railway.
Fill your days with joy, make memories to hold on to.
