Jonathan Richardson - Catering
After leaving catering college in Sheffield this Yorkshire lad went full steam ahead and worked at Raymond Blanc's flagship restaurant, Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisons, Oxford, amongst others, so it's fair to say he's got some top quality experience under his belt. After 25 years worth he set up his own private catering business so he can share what he's learnt with his clients.
Jonathan Richardson will cater for all occasion and all diets, be it a canape party, a barbecue, a dinner party or a fully serviced banquet. His celebration cakes and speciality desserts will have your tastebuds jumping for joy, and he'll even come along and do street food like noodles, paella or fajitas at your Sleeps12 holiday home. Soul Food - Marc Jerem
Marc Jerem notched up some very impressive catering experience working for several well known high-end restaurants, namely the Castle Hotel in Taunton, Marc Hix, River Cottage and The New Angel at Dartmouth. And boy, does this show in his food! Marc's creative flair and his passion for cooking speaks loud and clear in the taste and the flavours, and how much effort he puts into what he does; everything is homemade - bread, houmus, scones, jam, everything, he literally lives and breathes his job.
Marc lives with his young family in the Blackdown Hills where it's still easy to eat with the seasons, and that's what he likes to do. All ingredients are fresh, sourced locally and often wild or foraged. Once he puts his own twist to it, it moves to another level.
Marc is happy to cater for all diets and will happily come to your Sleeps12 large group accommodation and create a bespoke menu for you for a 3 course celebration meal, a cream tea, buffet, barbecue or canapes - whatever you want. If you have a thing for smoked food you’re going to love River Field and Forest. This family run online/delivery business supplies the finest smoked meats and fish, sourced from artisans throughout the British Isles who are passionate about the food they produce; a whole lot of love goes into what they do and quality is always at the forefront.
So make that big birthday extra special by starting the day with a breakfast of smoked salmon and soft scrambled eggs for all. Have a heavenly hen weekend with an afternoon tea of smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches, or a tastebud tantalising smoked fish platter (Beetroot & Gin smoked salmon, cold smoked trout, honey & lime hot smoked salmon…).
