It’s not very often you get a community pub with food this good, but it works; the locals pop in for a drink and pretty soon the whole place fills out with people coming to dine, which isn’t surprising because the food is seriously good.
They have an a la carte menu offering such delights as Hotpot of Cornish Fish, Potato, Parmesan and Spinach Gnocchi and Classic beef Wellington, as well as pub favourites like Venison Burgers and steaks. They also do afternoon tea, and breakfasts at the weekend, and coffee and cakes every day.
